Makena Beach (Big Beach)

Hence the nickname, this is the biggest beach on Maui! Popular for body boarders, it does have a strong shorebreak, so please use caution when entering the water!

 

 

Baby Beach

Always crystal clear and quite shallow, this popular beach is just a 10 minute walk from Front Street in Lahaina and popular for sunbathing and snorkeling alike! Not to mention sunset! :)

Kaanapali Beach

This beach was recently named one of the BEST BEACHES IN THE UNITED STATES, and one of the top beaches in the world!

During the winter months, you can spot whales from shore, and enjoy paddleboarding, snorkeling, and more all year round. Plus, Black Rock at the north end of Ka'anapali Beach is popular for cliff jumping!

Hamoa Beach

Located on the east side of the island in Hana, this popular boogie boarding beach features soft dark sand and strong currents against lava rock.

*This is a great option if you don’t have reservations for Waiʻānapanapa State Park!

Kam Beaches

Located alongside the shores in Kihei, Kamaole Beach Park I, II, and III are all perfect choices for snorkeling, beach picnics, or catching some sun/sunsets!


Baldwin Beach

Catch us here for Drum Circle every Friday night to watch sunset, dance to the beat of the drums, and be awed by the fire dancers at night! You’ll usually always spot some friendly honu (sea turtles) here as well!

Waiʻānapanapa State Park & Beach


This panoramic black sand beach in Hana is as breathtaking as they come! Spread over 122 acres, this state park does require reservations. Find them here.

Ho'okipa Beach


Just past the town of Paia at mile marker 9 on Road to Hana. Ho'okipa Beach Park boasts some of the best surfing on the island! On the right side of the beach, you’re sure to see honu (sea turtles) resting, but remember to keep your distance!
