Maui has a extremely diverse ecosystem and is known for the lush landscapes, and is a haven for nature enthusiasts eager to explore the island's rich natural landscapes. Maui's climate and fertile volcanic soil create an ideal environment for an abundance of fruit-bearing trees and plants. 

One of the best ways to experience Maui’s natural abundance is through the diverse array of fruits that thrive growing in the warm tropical weather here. Some of the most common fruit you will see here on Maui includes Dragon Fruit, Pineapple, Papaya, Bananas, Apple,Soursop, Starfruit, Guava, Lilikoi, Sapote, Sapadilla, Mango, Avocado, Sugarcane, Fresh Coconut Water, different varieties of local citrus.

-Breadfruit trees, native to the Pacific, bear large, starchy fruits that are often roasted, steamed, or fried.
-The Dole Plantation in Oahu offers a Pineapple Garden Maze, recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's largest maze. 

Hike & pick

explore hiking trails surrounded by banana trees, their bunches of ripe fruit hanging low over the trail making them extremely easy to pick. Take the opportunity to taste fruits like passion fruit, guava, and star fruit – each bite a burst of tropical flavor.
