One of the most compelling reasons to visit Hawaii goes beyond its breathtaking scenery and luxurious resorts. It lies in the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local community and give back in meaningful ways. Volunteering in Hawaii not only allows you to connect with the land and its people but also leaves a lasting positive impact on the environment and communities you visit.

When you stay with us as a guest at Howzit Hostels, we have Hawaii Love Day every Friday and we will go out into the community and do local volunteer work on Maui to give back to the community. We will be hosting local trash cleanups on the beach, or we will also be volunteering on a farm, and working in the garden!
